The Diamond State RollerGirls, formerly the Wilmington City Ruff Rollers, is a “for skaters”, “by skaters” DIY organization. Our goal is provide a competitive environment in which non-traditional female athletes can participate in a sport that embodies an edgy lifestyle. No wimps here! Only hard hits and hard work. We are a part of the WFTDA apprenticeship program and follow all WFTDA rules and guidelines. We are Real, We are Strong, We are Athletic and We are Revolutionary. The league was started in March 2006 by locals, Naughty Nikki Napalm, WitchBlade, Will O’ the Whip, and Lolli Dagger. We are the first all – female, DIY skater owned and operated, Flat Track Roller Derby League in Delaware. We consist of hard working determined athletes who are ready to get down and derby! We are always looking for fresh, new talent.
